At FRÈRE DU NORD we love shorts so much, we created six styles (and counting...) so that every need is covered.

Most of our shorts are inspired by sports, with design differences to accommodate different lengths and leg fits. All of our shorts, however, fit the same way in the waistband — so if you're a Medium in one style, you'll be a Medium in all the others.

The waistband is made of a durable 2" woven elastic, and all styles come with a drawcord in either natural undyed cotton or black cotton.

The 4-Pocket Shorts were created based on customer demand for the features of both the Basketball Shorts and the Soccer Shorts combined into one.

The length splits the difference: 1" shorter than the Basketball, 1" longer than the Soccer. It features both the side cell pockets and the front slanted pockets. These shorts are great for someone that needs and likes to have lots of pocket options.

A great gift choice alongside the Soccer Shorts.

The Soccer Shorts fall about mid-thigh — shorter and slightly slimmer in the leg than the 4-Pocket Shorts. They feature side cell phone pockets only for a clean, minimal look.

Our most versatile style, loved across all body types. If you prefer shorts that aren't overly long or loose in the leg, these are your pair.

Note: if your instinct is to reach for a front pocket the moment you put something on, then you should probably look a pair with slanted front pockets (4-Pocket, Basketball or Football).

One of our two original styles, the Basketball Shorts are relaxed and long in the leg. They feature slanted front pockets and a rib gusset for ventilation. Longer than the 4-Pocket Shorts and the same width — these are made for people who love a long, easy-wearing short and don't want anything close to the leg.

Inspired by classic (American) football pants, these are our narrowest and longest style — coming to the knee for most people.

The Football Shorts have slanted front pockets and rib side panels, just like classic football pants. If you want a long, fitted short with a polished look, these are it. Especially nice in Black or Natural.

Designed to maximize leg exposure while staying supremely comfortable. Like all our styles, they have a high rise, so they'll look great worn high-waisted with our Cropped Tees or with a Classic T-Shirt tucked in.

The Short Shorts feature two side pockets that are deep and can fit your cell phone.

A customer favourite, often bought in multiple colours. If these feel a touch too short, the Soccer Shorts are your next best option.

The Sleep Shorts are designed to be worn in bed, around the house or the cottage. The rib waistband is 3" wide and has a soft knitted elastic, so it feels like nothing on. The raw hem and flatlocked seams make for an even more comfortable and lightweight wearing experience.

Dimensionally similar to the Short Shorts, but they feel a lot looser and lighter on, because they have no elastic, pockets, hems and heavier seams.
